Millennials are the fastest growing generation of investors, both in numbers and investible assets. So, who are these younger investors and what matters to them?

A Broadridge survey was conducted by 8 Acre Perspective to assess the current sentiment of U.S. investors. A total of 1,000 U.S. investors with investable assets of $10K+ and a household income of $25K+ completed the survey, which was fielded in April and May 2021.

IN SEARCH OF ADVICE

They are touted as the most DIY generation of investors, yet the percentage of Millennial investors who say they work with an advisor is not that different from other generations.

And a relatively high percentage of Millennial investors indicate they are likely to use an advisor within the next two years—making them a prime target for new relationships.
