Speaker 1: Keyview is a private market specialist. We offer actively managed private credit funds for wholesale investors who otherwise would not have access to the type of opportunities Keyview can originate.

Coming out of the GFC, mid-market companies were increasingly finding it hard to access debt fundings for business growth. As a growing business, we needed to institutionalize our operations. The ongoing loan management of our portfolios became more complex and higher volume; spreadsheets will only get you so far. We needed a scalable technology driven solution, which could cater for our bespoke complexity while also having the infrastructures in place to grow with us. I looked across the globe for a solution for the business. Given the private credit market was more developed overseas, I thought it makes sense to look at what some of the best players in the space we're using; that led me to Broadridge.

We need to have technology that can scale with us, which is robust and reliable. With technology changing all the time, it's important that our technology platforms are constantly evolving, making the most of advancements in the likes of AI. Broadridge fits this bill because they're a large, well-resourced financial technology company which has the resources to constantly enhance their solutions and roll them out with confidence.

The opportunity

Keyview's journey began in the late 2010s when they identified a critical need to support mid-market corporates that were struggling to secure debt funding with a private credit solution. By recognizing the dual opportunity to achieve attractive returns and structure loans that protect investor capital, the team set the foundation for the enterprise that is Keyview today.

As the private credit market in Australia continues to grow, Keyview is well-positioned for expansion. This growth journey required Keyview to institutionalize their operations, addressing the increasing complexity of loan portfolio management by seeking a scalable, technology-driven solution.

The approach

By implementing our portfolio management solution, Kevview successfully transformed their loan administration and reporting processes.
