Broadridge Recognized for Excellence in Proxy Voting by Global Custodian Magazine

(NYSE:BR), a leading provider of investor communications and technology-driven solutions for financial firms and corporate issuers globally, today announced that it has received the 2013 Global Custodian Award for Excellence in Proxy Voting. The award, made in recognition of Broadridge’s global proxy services business, was received in a year in which Broadridge continued to help drive improved corporate governance and transparency throughout the international proxy vote processing lifecycle.

This year, the editors of Global Custodian added new award categories to recognize the technology, consultancy and law firms supporting the international securities services and alternative industries. The awards were based on market surveys and nominations from industry participants. The winners of each category were announced and honored at the 2013 Global Custodian Awards for Excellence Dinner held in November in New York City.
