Broadridge is heading to this year’s SIFMA Operations Conference & Exhibition, which will be held in May in Phoenix, Arizona. We will join other fintech firms and business leaders to explore and understand the practical application of technologies in operations, evolution of investor engagement, and management of new risks in support of safe and resilient capital markets.
Among the key topics will be artificial intelligence (AI), as well as machine learning and robotic process automation. Adoption of these technologies by financial services firms has been accelerated by the recent explosion of data caused by the “internet of things,” as well as advancements in computing power. This is expected to have a noticeable impact on business productivity in the next three to five years.
AI is viewed as a transformational opportunity for banks that can drive increased efficiency, greater differentiation, reduced risk and improved service. According to a survey by PwC, investment in 2017 reached all-time highs. Just over half of financial services firms are already making “substantial investments” in AI while 66 percent expect to by 2020.
It is crucial for business leaders to discuss these topics in depth, to the people that matter. Business leaders at Broadridge see AI not only as an emerging industry trend, but also as a significant business advantage. They will be joined by other experts to discuss the topic in our interactive workshop, “From Bots to Products — Transforming Capital Markets with Artificial Intelligence.”
Join Broadridge’s 2018 SIFMA Ops partner workshop on May 8 from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. to gain insight from our experienced panelists representing financial institutions, analyst firms and fintech providers. As observers of the evolution and transformation of banks and broker-dealers due to the support of AI, our panelists will discuss the AI market landscape and provide deep insight into the challenges and opportunities available for banks and what they are doing to take “Bots to Products.” Register here.
Broadridge participated in many sessions throughout SIFMA Ops 2018. Attendees learnt about shared experiences across a range of working environments, how they have overcome challenges, their views on current financial trends and topics, including the use of AI in the financial industry.
