Congratulations to our 2025 honorees!
Mary Cecola
CTO, Asset Management
“Go for it. Don't be shy about taking on challenges and new opportunities.”
Mary is excited about opportunities to leverage AI and quantum computing in her work, but she also recognizes that staying on top of the latest technology isn’t enough to succeed as a leader.
She shares her advice for future technology leaders: “Knowing the non-technical parts of your job is just as important as knowing the technical parts.”
Abisola DePalo
Director, Software Engineering
“Be resourceful. Seek help from mentors or peer groups and learn from their experiences.”
The opportunity to solve problems and have creative freedom are Bisola's favorite aspects of working at Broadridge. “This freedom not only keeps me engaged but also drives innovation,” she explains.
Reflecting on her own career journey, Bisola emphasizes the importance of building a support system early on. She advises those early in their careers to invest in these relationships: “The effort put in early on will be rewarded as you grow and become more mature professionally.”
Rita Ferrari
Vice President, Product Management
“As a product person, don’t feel intimated by the ones who are experts in technology. Be the one that understands the strategy that influences the technology.”
As part of product management, Rita enjoys the partnership her team has formed with the technology group on product roadmaps, technology upgrades, and client projects. She says this relationship creates a sense of community in the workplace.
The strength of these partnerships is a testament to Rita's emotional intelligence and people skills, which have led to her success as a product manager. “It’s critical in this role to understand different perspectives of team members, learn what motivates them and, from this, foster engagement to reach end goals.”

As Jeanne continuously develops her skills, she is excited to see the advancements of AI and its ability to streamline everyday tasks. Beyond addressing current challenges, Jeanne is also eager to explore innovative technological solutions within the ESG space.
Danielle Gerace
Senior Country Officer, Australia
“Don’t leave your feminine side at the door.”
Danielle cautions that in a
male-dominated field like technology, it’s easy to adopt male behavioral traits and norms. “Creativity, intuition, and emotional intelligence, are equally important in solving problems, driving client solutions and growing commercial success,” she says.
Danielle advises younger women to become comfortable with being uncomfortable as a way to grow in their careers. She credits sailing with helping her step out of her comfort zone and encouraging her to take risks.
